Tvornica stočne hrane d.d. Čakovec (TSH) is a leading Croatian manufacturer, processor, and distributor of animal feed. With over 45 years of tradition, TSH operates through the main production unit in Čakovec, silos and dryers in Donji Kraljevec and Kotoriba, farms in Tremi and Belica, the GRAMA Construction-Garden Center, and a network of agricultural pharmacies.

In addition to the domestic market, TSH also places its products on the foreign market through its own sales channels and distributors. High product quality and a focus on end-user satisfaction are the fundamental values of this company.

Due to the specificities of the industry and the food nature of the products, TSH operates in a strictly regulated environment that requires complete traceability of raw materials and finished products – from receipt to delivery.

The biggest challenges included:

• A large number of suppliers (e.g., family farms) with different delivery dynamics
• Receipt of bulk and raw materials packaged in bags, which later enter various production processes
• Obligation to comply with the Food Law (NN 46/07, 55/11)
• Lack of automation in tracking LOTs and identifying batches
